Key Club Meeting 09/07/2021

Minutes

I. Call to Order

Call to Order at 2:40 PM on 09/07/2021.

II. Introduction

Mahlia gave a brief welcome back speech to help welcome back club members.

III. Officer Positions

Officer roles that are open (Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer) will need to be filled to have a functional club.

  1. Nominations will occur at the meeting on 09/14/2021.
  2. Elections will occur at the meeting on 09/21/2021.
IV. COVID-19 Safe Events

Face painting can be done with precautions.

  1. Face painters will be required to wear a mask and gloves.
  2. All face painting equipment should be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between face painting people.
V. Telesis Community Open House

The Telesis Community Open House is scheduled to attend on September 16, 2021 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM.

  1. Key Club is looking into doing a photo booth at the Telesis Community Open House. This will be managed by Alex Derfler. Alex requested his own canopy and table.
  2. Volunteer times/shifts will be from 3:30 - 5:30 PM and 5:30 - 7:30 PM.
VI. District-Wide Officer Training

District-Wide Officer Training will be held on September 25, 2021 from 4:00 - 6:00 PM.

  1. Participants should RSVP. The link to the RSVP form will be provided at a later date.
  2. This will be held on Zoom. The link to the Zoom meeting will be provided at a later date.
  3. This can be completed once our club finishes elections on the 09/21/2021 meeting.
VII. Kiwanis Luncheon

The Kiwanis Luncheon will be held on 09/09/2021. Key Club members were encouraged to attend.
